What is the plan now???

Well, I dropped off Zack's saliva swab to a Naturopath we have worked with in the past. I was introduced to "Wanda" through my friend Rachel . (who has recovered her Son from Autism and helps many others with their road to wellness)

Zack was only 4 when he was first diagnosed. I didn't yet have the confidence or this new found support (and hope) to take this less traveled path. I did see some improvement, in general health and even demeanor after trying non-traditional healing modalities, but never imlemented anything striclty for an extended period of time. I think that being exposed to different options was just all part of the learning experience.

It is really important to know what is priority to eliminate from Zack's diet. Wanda does do an extensive food allergy analysis or a general one.... Zack is calling for the general one right now.

I am curious to know what will come up on his list... in the beginning Soy Milk, Cane Sugar , honey, brown sugar , rice syrup, corn, rye, and a few other things were to be eliminated. SUCANAT (Sugar Cane Natural) was allowed. Interesting that Cow's Milk and Wheat were not on the restricted list at the time.

Currently we have no Cow's milk in the house and we are using almond and coconut flour for backing and cooking. Until I get the results back, I'm not going to go crazy eliminating anything else.

(oooo, I just remembered, I asked Zack's Endocrinologist for all records since diagnosis in July of 2007.... I haven't recevied them yet..... need to follow up and get that info. )

Wanda has been able to advise, in order of priority, which heavy metals, parasites, or other toxins need to be cleared as well as which vitamins, minerals and nutrients Zack requires. I am looking forward to getting the results back.

I have done these swab evaluations for my 2 other Boy's (Michael and Jaden) as well as for myself during the past three years. I will say that since crossing over to more natural preventitive care for my family, ill health is not what it used to be in my household. If we do catch something (and everyone does) the recovery is so fast... literally overnight.. sometimes even a few hours! Not kidding!

Well that's all for now. It has been a very busy day. We've been out since 7 am. . Zack had a Lacrosse Tournament in which he played 3 games and then he had a baseball game right after. Poor kid had his finger pricked every twenty minutes to make sure he wasn't going low... Michael, our oldest Son, has a baseball game tonight at 6pm. Both boys have games tomorrow as well.... It's busy ,but we LOVE it! Just looked inside and Jaden fell asleep watching a movie... I may be home with him tonight:-)

  2. Hi Pankaj,
I am sorry I did not see your comment. I am sort of new to blogging. I do not know specifically about goat milk, but I suspect some people can tolerate it. I have recently had IGG Food Panel done for my Boys. Zack had a HIGH antibody response to it, so I would not try it with him. I hope this helps. The N.D. in my area who is helping me is Steve Nenninger http://web.me.com/stevenenninger/SteveNenninger/Home.html

    Regards,
